Welcome to TULIP!

TULIP is the abbreviation of Team for Universal Learning and Intelligent Processing, a research lab at Deakin University, Australia. Since 2006, TULIP has started to take Honors students, Master by Research students, and Ph.D. students.

Our research interests include machine learning and data mining, behavior informatics, pattern recognition and data privacy. We have received ARC, CRGS, FaST, DU-UB, HK GRF and HKPU grants since 2006. Currently, the following research projects are carried out by TULIP members:
  • Data Science
  • Business Intelligence
  • Differential Privacy
  • Group Behavior Analysis, etc.

Ph.D. Student (Domestic or International): TULIP Lab takes new Ph.D. students every year. Applicants who are interested in joining TULIP Lab should lodge their HDR application on or before Oct 31 annually and aim to start the candidature from January, the next year. We are looking for new members who are interested in related research topics

Honors Student: If you are a Deakin student, it is highly recommended that you work as an internship trainee in TULIP before you start your honors study.
